Messege To Moderator

Dear Moderator, My chosen brief was to create a new music magazine including front cover, contents and double page spread. My magazine was called CMB, which represents Country Music Board, and the genre of my magazine is pop country. I worked alone to plan, construct and evaluate my coursework for AS Media Studies.

 I have been used Photoshop and InDesign to create my magazine, and at the same time, I knew some new ICT for representation, such as Prezi,Powtoon and Emaze. They are easy to use and I'm enjoy my creation journey and pleasure about what I have been done.

 My blog is best viewed by using the browser "Google Chrome."

Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
For this final question, I used a website called "Thinglink", which makes a great comparison between my preliminary task and my final piece.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the products?
I used a voice creation website called"Voki" to represent this question, I also attached a word document to make sure that the examiner can clear understand what "Voki" said. Underneath I also share my Pinterest account, which provides the evidence of the learning process of Photoshop and InDesign.

Monday 7th March Lesson Review 2016

I have been found a website called'Voki', which is a method of voice representation as you can choose different animation with gender and accent. I will upload a copy in word document of Question 6 as well which to make sure people people can understand it.

How did you attract/address your audience?
I decided to create Question Five by using a website called Padlet. This website is very good for collecting lots of ideas together and make a mind map, and it is flexible as you can drag the text box wherever you want, I'm quite happy with what I have been done so far.

Who would be the audience for your media product?
I have been used a website called 'Popplet' to represent my answer. This website is similar to Padlet, which can help you expand and develop your ideas further, and you can choose different bubbles depends on the theme you are working on, which is quite good and I will definitely use it again.

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

To represent my answer for Question Three, I have been used a website called Emaze. This is a website which similar to Prezi as they both work as a powerpoint. There are different Themes in Emaze and I chose the Academic Mode, which I think is the best way to represent this question. It's easy to use and also muti-functional, as you can upload videos, links or images to enrich your representation, and I think I will definitely use it again in the future.

This is the evidence of my evaluation Question Three, and this website is quite similar to Prazi. It contains different templates and I choose the 'Academic template' as I think it is the most appropriate one.

I decide to use 'Glogster' to represent Question Two. The way the website display it which is quite like a scrapbook and some themes are old fashion, which is similar to the genre of my magazine.

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
For this question, I used a website called 'Powtoon', which is good for creating animation videos, this website is easy to use. I also created a soundtrack to make it more interesting, I enjoyed and I'm quite happy with what I have been done.

Cover Page Development

Depending on the feedback from my teacher, I added a puff on the front cover in order to attract young audience by offering free posters. And I used gradient colour to make it appeal to my colour scheme. Here is what I have been done.
